Katlyn Perkins, Practice Manager

Katlyn attended and completed Brown Mackie’s Veterinary Technician Program in 2012. She completed her externship with us in 2012 and began working with us full-time soon after in 2013. Katlyn loves the constant advancement in the veterinary field and finding the opportunity to help clients and their pets with her vast knowledge of veterinary care.

Katlyn believes there is no better activity on her days off than spending time with her husband and two bright and adorable sons.

She has three spoiled yet precious Chihuahuas, Candy, Callie, and Cobra. They love being lazy just as much as they love treats.

Emily Szakovits. Veterinary Technician

Emily joined our team in January of 2017, but her passion for the profession began in 1999 when she began working as a veterinary technician, and Emily can’t imagine doing anything else. She loves her coworkers and the family-like atmosphere here at Fremont Animal Hospital, and she adores helping animals.

When not at work, Emily can be found swimming, gardening, and hanging out with her family. She’s the proud pet parent of four cats: Isabelle, Snoopy Snackfangs, Blackie, and Melon, and two dogs: a Lab-mix named George and a Chihuahua named Chloe.

She enjoys reading, baking, and watching her daughters play volleyball. Erin’s fuzzy family includes two Labrador Retrievers named Dixie and Maggie. She also has three cats: Lily, Iris, and Tulip.
